Gerri Misawa Fedoroff, CPA

Gerri joined the firm as a tax manager in early 2019 after the merger with David Schnaid Accountancy Corporation. She prepares tax returns and tax projections; handles correspondence and audits from various Governmental agencies; and supervises the firm’s staff accountants in addition to reviewing their work product.
While attending college, Gerri worked as an accounting intern for the Army Corps of Engineers as well as for a local CPA firm in Honolulu, where she first started preparing tax returns and compiling financial statements. Upon graduation, she joined KPMG Peat Marwick, where she not only worked in the audit department but also assisted the tax department in preparing returns during the busy season. Shortly after transferring to the Los Angeles office of KPMG, Gerri transitioned into the private sector, where she worked as an assistant controller and accounting manager. She ultimately returned to public accounting and has spent the past 25 years working with David Schnaid Accountancy Corporation, where she earned her reputation as the model of efficiency by preparing more than 1,000 tax returns per year. (Yes, you read that right.)
Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, University of Hawaii at Manoa. Recognized by the State of Hawaii for attaining the 2nd Highest Score on the CPA Exam in November of 1988.
Gerri is a fitness fanatic and in her spare time loves indoor cycling, hot yoga, and running 5Ks with her husband and three daughters.
