Staff Accountant – Tarzana

EXPERIENCE

Marilou has been working as Staff Accountant in the Tarzana office, with Ramin and Yasaman Akhavan, since she moved to the US from the Philippines in 2004.  She handles the accounting for a diverse clientele base which includes law and medical corporations, multi-rental properties, gas stations, investment properties, and retail businesses, among others. She also prepares individual income tax returns and is appreciative to have developed good working relationships with clients throughout the years.  Back in the Philippines, her work experience was in corporate planning and feasibility studies.

In her free time, Marilou enjoys reading and binge-watching British mystery and detective shows.  She also makes it a priority to keep in touch with her family in the Philippines every day.
