AMY MITCHELL

Amy serves as a staff accountant and supervises Bookkeeping staff.  She worked at ELF & Co. for over 27 years, alongside her husband and one of its founding partners, Steve Mitchell. She is an integral part of FJR, concentrating on consistently delivering a particularly excellent level of service to her tax and accounting clients – many of whom have been with her for over 25-years!

EDUCATION

Amy attended Kingston upon the Thames College in London, where she majored in accounting and business administration. When she moved to this country, she continued her education in accounting and business with courses taught here at the various schools around Greater Los Angeles.

EXPERIENCE

Over the years, Amy has prepared both individual and business tax returns of varying levels of complexity. She has mastered all the elements necessary to properly guide her clients in every aspect of their business and financial lives, from management advice to tax and retirement planning.

Her special proficiency is in asking the right questions so that clients are able to make the right decisions for themselves and their businesses.  As a senior member of staff, Amy sets a wonderful example for the rest of the staff at the firm.

FUN FACTS

Amy considers her husband and family to be the most important elements in her life. She makes an extra effort to stay in touch with everyone, from her children to her extended family. In addition, Amy is very conscious of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, working out at the gym, hiking, kickboxing – everything that ensures she is endowed with endless strength and boundless energy.
